Etching plywood as normal - except cranking down the speed settings to get a deep relief. Perhaps it’s somewhat abusing the laser and generating dust, but! A very fast way of achieving customized stamps that release easily from clay and are perfect for underglaze/glaze inlay.
Negative space surrounding the design is ettched deep by the laser creating a raised deesign that can be impressed in clay.
1. Obtain a high-contrast clipart image or design
2. Image trace - (black and white logo setting in Illustrator)
3. Etch design
4. Cut out perimeter
5. Glue on handle
